A faith that cannot be tested cannot be trusted.

Some people take better care of their tennis shoes than they do their Bible!

 

Being merciful is giving someone else what they need, not what they deserve.

 

Not everyone is Spiritually qualified to listen to your problems.

 

Do you hunger more for The Word than sweet soapapillas?  Line up everything you say and do in life by this verse...Colossians 3:17.

 

If what you did yesterday looks big, then you’re not doing much today.

Ask God to forgive you ONCE; then spend the next ninety-nine times thanking Him for having forgiven you.

 

Man is crucified between two crosses:  1)  The regret of yesterday and 2) the fear of tomorrow.

 

The two biggest things in our life are 1) circumstances and 2) how we deal with them.

 

This life is just preparation for the next.

 

Sometimes, in pleasing God, we’re going to disappoint man.

 

Sometimes God changes your circumstances in the furnace; sometimes He meets you in the furnace! (Daniel 3:25)

 

“Hardening your heart” is like the calluses a guitar player gets on his fingers; after awhile, you don’t feel anything.

 

God’s Word is like a measuring tape:  you can measure different things with it, but that standard still always remains the same.

 

Want a good diet?  Don’t eat physically , each day, until after you’ve eaten Spiritually.

 

LIFE means, “Live Intentionally For Eternity.”

 

Our roots are planted in the soil of Life (The Word of God in The Bible).  They have to be in there deep for us to grow!

Why do you idolize that NBA player, that rock star you’re pouring money into?  When you’re in the hospital, call one of them up and see who shows up!  I’ll tell you who’ll show up...it won’t be that famous person!  It’ll be your parents.  God will be with you.

 

When asked, “Are you going to church, again?” say, “You’re not?”

 

They say the one who has the most ‘toys’ wins.  How can that be?  They die and leave it all behind.

 

The devil doesn’t care how far he has to cast his line to get you, but once he has your eyes crossed and you’re hooked, he won’t give up until he has you in his boat!

 

If the fish knew what we above the water know, fishing would cease to be a sport.  So, as Christians, we need to tell the other fish, “It’s not a real worm.  It’s a lure.  Don’t bite it.”  The devil is looking for anybody and everybody he can get his hooks into!
 

It has been said that Christianity is just one generation from extinction if we fail to teach others the things we have learned.

 

Jesus wants us to pray TO Him, not AT Him.

 

Two things you can do on earth that you can’t do in Heaven:
    1)  Sin
    2)  Can witness to people about Jesus Christ and help them find salvation

 

Some things in life are too important not to share.

 

The easiest thing in the world is to TAKE, and the easiest thing to GIVE is criticism.

When Christians have good, clean fun, we leave and remember where we parked the car.

 

The objective is for members to be a part of the work of the ministry rather than have paid staff minister to them.

 

GOD is the “audience” during a church service, not the congregants (we are to be the “participants” as God watches).

 

The public will forgive us for mistakes in judgment, but not for mistakes in motive.

 

Make it a habit, TODAY, to decide what you’ll do TOMORROW.

Satan can’t stop the Church.  The people of God stop the Church because it takes the people of God to do the work of the Church!

What we believe effects how we behave.

 

What would we be like if we fed ourselves physically the way we feed ourselves Spiritually?

 

REPENT, when you fail.  Don’t make EXCUSES.

 

When contemplating sinning, go right ahead...IF GOD WILL BLESS IT.  Avoid that which you might not be able to resist.
