Welcome
Southwood Baptist Church is located at 2633 Altamesa Boulevard in Fort Worth, Texas (just a few blocks to the east of McCart Avenue and a few blocks west of Crowley Road). We are affiliated with the Baptist Bible Fellowship and celebrate the victory of Jesus the Christ over sin and death.  We look forward to sharing, with others, the good news of salvation and a life in Heaven made possible through a personal walk with Jesus. Please, join us for Sunday School (9:45 AM) and church services (10:45 AM and 6:00 PM on Sundays as well as 7:00 PM on Wednesdays) as we serve the risen Savior together!

I am really excited about “Bridging the Gap Between Knowing & Doing,” Southwood Baptist Church’s theme for 2012.  Let me explain, for a moment, what is actually meant by “Bridging the Gap Between Knowing & Doing.”  We all know a lot more than we actually do.  In the year 2012, it is our desire to activate our faith and community by being more involved in these areas of our lives.
